Daniel Mnyaro Lenjo, a seasoned football coach, embarked on his coaching journey over two decades ago after completing high school in 2002. Currently, he serves as a full-time coach at Club Fit Football Academy, a venture he co-founded seven years ago to nurture young football talent from an early age.
With a C.A.F C License from the Confederation of African Football, Daniel enjoyed a successful coaching tenure, notably spending 12 years with Kenyan Premier League club Bandari FC. Beginning as an assistant coach for the youth team in 2013, he progressed to become the first assistant coach for the senior team until his departure in 2023.
Inspired by his time at Bandari FC, Daniel established Club Fit For Life Football Academy to create opportunities for young footballers. The academy has since provided over 90 high school scholarships to talented pupils, enabling them to attend esteemed educational institutions such as Serani Boys’ High School and Tumaini Mixed High School. These scholarships have been instrumental in breaking barriers for less fortunate families who lack the financial means to pursue education.
Looking ahead, Daniel aims to expand the academy’s impact by establishing a private primary and high school complex. This initiative seeks to offer formal education alongside football training, empowering students to pursue successful careers as professional footballers. Through his unwavering dedication to both sports and education, Daniel continues to uplift the lives of young individuals across Kenya
