Phillip Wanjohi

I was born in the year 2000 to a single mother who played a significant role in raising me and shaping who I am today.
My passion for football ignited during my primary school years, specifically in class 4. By class 6, I caught the attention of Coach Lenjo while participating in local football tournaments organized by community leaders. Coach Lenjo recruited me for Bandari Youth, providing me with a platform to further develop my football skills. After completing primary school, I was awarded a scholarship to attend Serani High School.
My proudest moment with Serani High School occurred in 2019 when we became the Kenyan High Schools National Football Champions. This achievement led to our representation of Kenya in the Copa Coca-Cola Africa tournament, where Serani High reached the semi-finals.
Currently, I serve as the captain of the under-20 football team for Club Fit for Life. Additionally, I volunteer as a coach for Club Fit Football Academy, mentoring children aged under 10 during weekends and school holidays.
Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a career in professional football either abroad or within the Kenyan top-tier league. Ultimately, I aim to transition into coaching within Club Fit for Life, empowering younger footballers and demonstrating that success in the footballing world is attainable with dedication and hard work.
